Baking with Dorie - Mokonut’s Rye Cranberry Chocolate Chunk Cookies

In our BWD group this week, I chose to make the Mokonut cookies.  I had never used rye flour before so this was a first for me.  The problem was finding it in stock.  I think I visited five or six local grocery stores before finding it.  Sprouts had one bag left and I got it!

These cookies were easy to make and with the holidays upon us, I am really into making cookies.  These did not disappoint!  My husband and I loved them!  The cranberries, the chocolate and the rye flour came together to make one awesome cookie!  The rye flour gives a bit of nutty taste.  Winner for us!  I am now obsessed with these cookies!

Out of respect for the author, we do not publish recipes in this group.  We encourage you to buy the book and join our group.  Or, you can find the recipe here

If you would like to join in, just make it, bake it, and leave a link to your post at the Tuesdays with Dorie website:  click here
